1/30

In March, my friend Beth challenged herself to blog post each day about something positive.  She pulled it off, too!  In similar form, I’m challenging myself to post every day in April.  I, however, wasn’t ready to commit to something so involved (you know, that would actually take mental energy!)

So, for April 2011, I’m going to vow to take pictures every day.  Pictures of the kids, of my house, of things that inspire me, of things that confuse or amuse me, of things I create.  I know this concept isn’t new.  (Hello, Project 365.)  But it’s one I’ve not tackled before, so….

Here we go!

This is the art project Seth brought home from Mother’s Day Out today, and I love it!  We are so blessed with his teacher this year, and each time I look at this butterfly, I smile, and I say of prayer of thanks for Miss Renee.  Seth will be going to a new school in the fall, so I’m especially grateful that these last few weeks of MDO are with so great and creative a teacher.

Yea for wonderful professionals who love on my children so well, and yea for pretty spring art!

Love the butterfly. Reminds me of my preschool teaching days! =)

I was thinking the same thing as the other comment- reminds me of teaching preschool! And it's nice to hear that it makes you think of the teacher- I often figured it only made the moms think of their little precious doing the work, when really, it does take a lot of work from the teacher. :) Glad you've found a good program that is working well for you and Seth!
