And God had other ideas

So, so much for my grand calendar of events.

I won't go into details, but I need to at least make note.

Insert into that post below a stop at the hospital to experience both the joy of learning that we would be parents of twins (yes, in me -- oh my goodness, a dream come true!) ... and the sadness of letting them go after only nine weeks.

I am recovering from surgery at home. I am sad, yet hopeful; in pain, but healing.

Jim and I know we will have the children God wants us to, both on earth, and on the other side of Heaven.

For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret,
and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me.
~ Psalm 139:13-16

Monica - first of all, don't be sorry about our phone conversation yesterday! My problems are insignificant in comparison. :( Secondly, you & your family are in our prayers always & you can reach me if & when you ever need to. *hugs* May you continue to feel God's peace & strength in this difficult time.

Hi Monica, I'm so sorry about your twins. I wish I could be up there with you and just hang out on the couch with you, talk, and fix you some lunch of comfort food, and we could cry together. I hope you are recovering well (physically speaking) and I will call and check in on you this afternoon. Giant hugs and all my support in the world, Daina

Monica -

I am so very sorry. I just saw something on the Nest, and I wanted to check in with you. Know that I'm thinking about you, and if you ever feel like talking - I'm here.

God makes wiser decision than we, so we must try to understand and trust him, not ask why.
