More nursery inspiration….maybe

What do you think?

pom pom

But, obviously, in hues of orange, pink, and maybe white?

I don’t know….these would be SO cheap and easy to make and display, but…..

We are putting BG’s crib in a corner of the room, as opposed to centered on a wall, like it was for Seth, so I’d have that angled surface area to fill, and I think this would be a cute mobile substitute, but…..

Why am I so hesitant?  What are your thoughts?

(Here is the site I stole the idea and pic from.)

Those things hanging look like they are to be used to apply body wash to an elaphant. I don't love them, but your other decorations are GREAT!

Your "Anonymous" Husband

Ok, I'm seriously cracking up at your "Anonymous" husband, Monica! LOL!

It's definitely an unique idea and I think if they were smaller, I would really dig it more. You're doing such an amazing job with everything you have picked out and I think if they're that big, it's going to be all you see when you walk in...besides BG of course! ;)

So tell us...what does your husband think of them?

I think they are cute, but on a little smaller scale. The nice thing about them is that you could change them out if you get tired of them...you haven't invested a lot of time or money into them.

Until I read the shower pouf comment, I was thinking that I loved them. Now all I can think about is elephants. Blame your anonymous husband.

I remember seeing some cool paper flowers in Martha Stewart (DIY), some time back. They were big like that, to hang. Over lunch I'll see if I can find the pic and send it to you.

Hmm. I was sort of thinking they looked like my high school pom poms. But elephant scrubbers is probably more accurate.

I'm not sure I'm a fan, M. Though I'm sure if you go with them, they'll look fantastic and I'll eat my words. ;)

Attack of the giant Loofahs!!

(BTW, I don't know if you noticed but that comment widget went Ka-put! I am working on figuring out a different way to get that to function, and if I do, I'll let you know. It seems to be a systemic problem!)

Not a huge fan. They remind me of bad high school dance decorations.

I like them. I think they're different and they do remind me of a loofah. I like loofahs.

I happen to like them. I think they look really nice and will add a lot to the room. Depending on the size of your room and the space you need to fill, smaller ones might be better. But, I think they are cute (sorry Anonymous Hubby!) :)

They are cute, but I keep thinking of all the dust that will collect in them...Maybe I'm just weird. I can't wait to see pictures of it all come together.

OK, I am a fan of these. Alicia(Eric's wife) used these at their wedding, and they looked great. I say go for it!! And hey, if you get tired of them, they're tissue paper...take them down!!

Hmmmm. I'm not 100% but maybe there's just too many in that picture. I agree maybe smaller and a few less. I think it will all look so cute and girly when it's done!

I think your anonymous husband might have a good point. They do look a little like loofahs. They're cute, but with as refined and sophisticated as the rest of the room is going to look - I don't know if they'll "match." I can't wait to see the finished product!
